Grabbing the Essentials

Grabbing the Essentials

As planned, I'm happy to say that I found a new home in Chiang Mai! After a full day of touring roughly 14 different buildings (some with multiple units), I actually found the decision to be pretty straightforward. Anyways, the apartment itself is for another time.

Today, I wanted to share a light look at grocery costs here in Chiang Mai. After moving into any new place, there's bound to be a need for some essential items. I went out to a local market, Rimping at Maya, and grabbed several things. By no means was this a penny-pinching mission. I just wanted to grab the stuff and put it all away so that I could put in some work hours.

I will definitely be going back to Rimping. While I'm sure there are cheaper options out there, it's a close resource for me and offers a good variety of products. Plus, the food court on that level of Maya is always a treat.

Have a particular item you're wondering about in Chiang Mai? Can you recommend another market? Feel free to post below!
